So when should you buy?
- There is no "wait for the sale" — the sale is always on. From Mar 16, 2026 to Oct 4, 2026 the windows we've recorded run back to back with no gap. Waiting a month does not get you a better tire discount; it gets you a different brand.
- Wait only if you want a specific brand. Bridgestone and Michelin have taken turns in every window so far, so if the current promo is the wrong brand for you, the other one has been about four weeks away.
- The discount has not moved. Every window was $100 off a set of four. The one exception was April 2026, when Bridgestone tiered it — $100 on a set over $900, $50 under. Don't hold out hoping for $150.
- Winter tires are the real deadline — the bays, not the discount. The newest window we've logged runs to Oct 4, 2026 and leads with a winter tire. What actually runs out in October and November is installation appointments, not the promotion.
How these Costco tire offers work
- It's instant savings, not a rebate. The discount comes off at the till when you buy the set — there's no coupon to clip and no form to mail.
- It's a set of four. Every flyer we've read prices the discount on a purchase of four tires. Buying two doesn't get you half.
- Installation is bundled. Most of these flyers print "installation package is included" or "no charge install included in purchase" right on the offer. Wheels are never included.
- Not every size qualifies. The Michelin offers all carry the same line — not all makes, models and sizes are available — and the offers can't be stacked with another promotion from the same brand.
- The window is national, the stock is not. The offer runs at Costco warehouses across Canada and on Costco.ca, but which tires your local tire centre actually has is a warehouse-by-warehouse question. Check the current flyer for the offer in full, including the fine print.
