Costco Same-Day Delivery: Two $15 Off $50 Codes This August (Regular + Business Centre)

YepSavingsYepSavings Team

Costco is running $15 off $50 on both Same-Day sites this August. We used our in-store price records to work out the markup — and whether it's worth it.

Two Codes, One for Each Site

Costco is running two twin promotions this month, one on each of its Same-Day sites. Both are $15 off $50+, valid August 3–30, 2026:

Two Costco Same-Day promo codes for August 2026: SUMMERSAVE26 at sameday.costco.ca and BDSUMMERSAVE26 at sameday.costcobusinesscentre.ca, $15 off $50+

They're independent offers on independent storefronts — one order on each site gets you $30 off total.

Key conditions:

  • $50 minimum is the merchandise subtotal — after discounts, before taxes, fees and tip — and the order must be successfully delivered
  • Alcohol and prescription items don't count toward the offer
  • Each code: one use per membership number. Household cardholders have their own membership number — so a two-card household, with each cardholder placing a qualifying order on each site, can get up to $60 off across four orders

Is It Actually Worth It? We Know What the Store Charges

Here's the question that matters with any delivery service: how much more are you paying than the shelf price? Most people can't answer it. We can — YepSavings tracks shelf-tag prices at Costco warehouses every week.

Comparing Same-Day listings against our in-store price records:

  • KS Organic Hemp Hearts 907 g — $15.99 in-store → $18.15 Same-Day (+13.5%)
  • Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps 737 g — $7.99–8.49 in-store → $9.30 Same-Day (+10–16%)

So the online price ran about 10–16% above the shelf in our samples. Now the promo math:

On a $50 order, $15 off is 30% — roughly double the markup. A $50 Same-Day order is about $44 of shelf value; with the code you pay $35 plus taxes, fees and tip. Unless the fees and tip run past $9, you come out ahead of driving to the store — before counting your time and gas.

Two things people get wrong about the markup:

  • In every case we checked, the markup scaled with the price — sale items were marked up proportionally too, so buying discounted products didn't cost extra.
  • There's no $25 small-order surcharge here. That fee (on orders under $250) belongs to the Business Centre's traditional truck delivery at costcobusinesscentre.ca. Same-Day just has normal Instacart-style fees at checkout.

After August 30, the codes are gone and it's back to paying the markup — about 13% on the items we sampled — for convenience.

Are the Online "Sales" Real? We Checked the Shelf Tags

We spot-checked nine sale items against our price records. Eight of nine matched an active in-store promotion exactly — same dollar amount off, same end date. Here are four of them, next to the actual warehouse shelf tags:

Kirkland golf balls: in-store tag $29.99 vs Same-Day $34.04, both $10 off

Nestle Drumstick 18-pack: in-store tag $15.99 vs Same-Day $18.15, both $4 off

Nestle KitKat frozen bars: in-store tag $14.99 vs Same-Day $17.01, both $4 off

Giant Tetris game: in-store tag $79.99 vs Same-Day $90.79, both $20 off

Same discount, same end date, marked-up base price — the online sale tags are real warehouse promos, not made-up online discounts. And for one item whose in-store promo had already ended, the online listing was back at full price when we checked. Caveat: that's a nine-item, single-day check — we can't promise every listing works this way.

Stack It & Save a Bit More

  • Executive members: official standing benefit — $10 instant credit every month on an eligible order of $150+, at either Costco on Instacart or the Business Centre Same-Day site. One credit per order; doesn't roll over — use it or lose it.
  • Amex Platinum, Gold and Cobalt cardholders get a monthly $10 Instacart credit as a separate card benefit — whether a given order triggers it depends on your card's current terms.
  • Pick a scheduled delivery window instead of priority delivery — it usually shaves a couple of dollars off the fees.
  • Paying with an Instacart gift card? Redeem it inside the Costco Same-Day site, not the Instacart app — based on shopper reports, balances don't transfer between the two platforms.

Do I need to visit a Business Centre? No — order online and Instacart delivers from a Business Centre serving your postal code. Home addresses are fine on both Same-Day sites.

Membership required? Yes, linked to your Same-Day account.

Where does the code go? The payment step at checkout.
