Costco Kirkland Women 50+ Multivitamin Recalled Over Metal in Bottle
What Happened
Costco Canada has posted a recall notice for Kirkland Signature Women 50+ (multivitamin and minerals) Tablets (Costco Item #7013050) due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces in the pill bottle. The recall was initiated voluntarily by Vita Health Products on May 19, 2026 as a Type II recall. A metal object was discovered inside one bottle of the affected lot.
According to the Costco notice, the affected bottles were sold at Costco Canada warehouses and on Costco.ca between February 2026 and May 2026. Under Health Canada's classification, a Type II recall covers situations where the product may cause temporary adverse health consequences, or carries a remote probability of serious adverse health consequences.

How to Identify the Product
Affected bottles can be identified by the lot number L5J46568W7 and expiration FE/2028 printed on the neck of the pill bottle. If your bottle carries both of these marks, it falls within the recall.
